What People Say

Most Liked

The Stables is famous for its comforting breakfast options; visitors rave about the pancakes and eggs Benedict. The home fries are often described as a must-try, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The coffee here has earned high praise, with many noting it as the best in town. Quick service adds to the experience, making it the ideal spot for a swift yet satisfying meal. Plus, the restaurant’s daily specials keep the menu fresh and exciting, encouraging frequent visits from locals.

Most Disliked

Despite the many positives, some diners encounter a wait during peak hours, particularly on weekends. A few guests comment on the occasional mud pit situation outside, which might pose accessibility challenges during rainy days. While the service is generally praised, there are moments when higher traffic leads to a less attentive experience. Additionally, the dinner period tends to be less popular, leading to limited offerings compared to breakfast and lunch. A handful of customers have mentioned the need for improved noise control during busy times, as it can make conversation difficult in the bustling atmosphere.

Stopped by for a late breakfast while we're traveling in western Mass. for my wife's 50th high school reunion. The food was absolutely wonderful! I had the large breakfast which was wonderful! My wife said her omelette was delicious. Really good coffee. Our server, Karen, was such a nice lady and we chatted how she was actually very familiar with where we live on the east coast of Florida. If we were staying longer we would have to go there again. Highly recommend this Mom and Pop restaurant in Hadley!

Stopped in at lunchtime but had the all day breakfast. I got the three eggs with bacon , sausage , home fries and toast. It was delicious..... My friend got the two eggs with bacon , home fries and pancakes. She was very happy with it. The coffee was very good and our food was cooked just the way we ordered. The restaurant was very clean and organized and they offered specials for each day of the week and extra specials each day. Very nice decor and the beautiful plants being grown out front really compliments the building. The menu has many options to choose from for breakfast and lunch and the food at the other tables looked very tempting. Something for everyone .

Dropped in for a quick bite. Wait staff was incredibly kind, and accommodating of food allergies. I ordered and there was next to no wait for my food which was delicious. Reasonably priced as well.

This is quite the local staple. The staff here were very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decorations all throughout the establishment. I enjoyed their take on eggs Irish Benedict. Instead of an English muffin the had a piece of cornbread which was nice. Parking is convenient and accessible right in front. Kind of a mudpit with the weather. I am looking forward to going back again soon!
